At the opening ceremony of the XXXII Congress of the Czech Society of Internal Medicine in Brno, the monograph “Komplikace diabetu a moderní trendy diabetologie” (“Complications of Diabetes and Modern Trends in Diabetology”), edited by MUDr. Michal Dubský, Ph.D., received 2nd place in the category Best Monograph in Internal Medicine 2024.

Dr. Barbora Hagerf (Voglová) from the IKEM Diabetes Centre was also recognized, receiving 1st place in the category Best Original Scientific Paper by Authors Under 40.

Her study “Accuracy and Feasibility of Real-time Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Critically Ill Patients After Abdominal Surgery and Solid Organ Transplantation,” published in Diabetes Care, succeeded among strong competition from young internists.
