At the 41st International SKVIMP Congress, held from May 28 to 30, 2025, in Hradec Králové under the title “Clinical Nutrition: From Specialization through Expertise to Comprehensive Care,” the National Institute for Research of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases (CarDia) hosted its own dedicated scientific session. Under the leadership of Associate Professor MUDr. Jan Gojda, Ph.D., from the 3rd Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, three lectures were presented focusing on current topics in clinical research – metabolic flexibility, effects of the ketogenic diet, and the role of physical fitness in preoperative preparation.
