The Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM) received the prestigious “Stronger Together PRO Award 2025” at the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) Congress in London. This award is presented for the highest-rated abstracts delivered as oral presentations at the congress.

IKEM submitted a total of seven abstracts, covering topics such as transcriptomics in donor biopsies, molecular examination of biopsies in incompatible transplants, monitoring donor-derived cell-free DNA after kidney transplantation, and analysis of immune cell composition in the periphery prior to transplantation.

In addition to the awarded presentations, IKEM was also present at the congress through invited lectures, postgraduate activities, and collaborations with European partners.

The next ESOT Congress will take place in 2027 in Prague and IKEM will be there again.
