Invitation: Diabetes Today – New Horizons in Research and Treatment

Under the auspices of the National CarDia Institute, the next lecture in the series The Human Body in Health and Diseaseorganized by the Institute of Physiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences will take place, this time on the topic: “Diabetes Today: New Horizons in Research and Treatment.”

The lecture will focus on the latest findings on diabetes—a condition related to the impaired production of the hormone insulin in the pancreas and its effects in the body.

The speakers will discuss research, treatment approaches, and transplantation possibilities:

Assoc. Prof. MUDr. Jan Kříž, Ph.D. – Deputy Head of the Diabetes Center at IKEM for Experimental Research
